FBFP is dedicated to developing Geo-digital and AI- based innovative, disruptive and collaborative solutions to find solutions to 5 major problems and pain points in the Philippine agriculture and fisheries sector, which have prevented the livelihood improvement, resiliency and financial security of the small holder Filipino Farmers and Fisherfolk i.e.,

• lack of meaningful access to formal agricultural credit and loans
• lack of reliable and transparent agricultural insurance, including parametric insurance products, to protect from Typhoons and other risks in this era of climate change
• lack of digitalization of extension services and rural entrepreneurship creation models
• lack of online marketplace for agri-fisheries trading and services
• high post-harvest losses.
